A mold was found at the Heuneburg that was used for casting handles with satyrs' heads, in imitation of those found on an Etruscan jug. Since the mold was definitely made with local clay, here again we must assume that products from the Mediterranean area were integrated or re-elaborated, which again points to the tendency of local craftsmen to seek inspiration from foreign models.
